Siobhán Lewington, MD and Head of London at Fox Rodney, was delighted to be featured in Aspirant Analytics’ latest podcast discussing the topic of gender diversity in the legal market.

Fox Rodney has been recruiting partners for top-tier law firms for nearly 20 years and gender diversity is a topic of genuine interest to the firm.  We release an annual London Partner Moves Report and Gender Diversity Report exploring data and trends amongst these issues.

Siobhán’s interview with Michal Bohanes discusses interesting patterns that she has seen throughout her experience in this field.  Firstly, that women respond better to targeted approaches and secondly, that female partners respond better to team moves.  She concludes by pushing for a greater balance in gender within the shortlisting process.

Siobhán Lewington says, “Sometimes male partners approach us proactively.  They look at their career and decide that they want to explore if there is a better platform for them.  That happens less often with female partners, in my experience, who need to be sought out and approached about a specific opportunity.”
