Adrian Fox
Adrian studied for his degree in Jurisprudence at Oxford University before qualifying as a solicitor with Macfarlanes in 1986. He worked as an assistant solicitor with the firm for two years, before leaving to join the legal recruitment sector in 1989.

In 1993 Adrian became a Director at one of the UK’s most prominent specialist legal recruitment consultancies, where he worked principally in London as well as spending three years in the UK regions.

Together with Stephen Rodney, he established Fox Rodney Search Limited in May 2000.

Stephen Rodney
Stephen qualified as a solicitor with Berwin Leighton in 1989 before moving to the niche medical negligence firm Compton Carr. He entered the legal recruitment sector in 1990.

By 1998 he had been appointed Managing Director of one of the leading legal recruitment consultancies, spending the majority of his time on senior partner level team moves and merger activity for UK and US firms.

Together with Adrian Fox, he established Fox Rodney Search Limited in May 2000.

Siobhán Lewington
Siobhán started her legal career at Arthur Cox, one of Ireland's top 5 law firms. After completing her LLM at the LSE, she joined Allen & Overy in London. There, she worked as a capital markets lawyer for 5 years, and was seconded to Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS) in Switzerland, Merrill Lynch and Cable & Wireless. Siobhan joined Quarry Dougall in 1999 where she was appointed head of the Financial Services Legal Team.

In 2002, she joined Sheffield Haworth, a top 5 Financial Services Executive Search firm, to establish a legal and compliance search practice. She joined Fox Rodney Search Limited in early 2006.

Michael Ellenhorn
Michael earned his law degree at Washington University in St. Louis and is currently an Executive MBA-candidate at the Sir John Cass School of Business in London. A litigator by training, Michael is a US-qualified lawyer, as well as a Solicitor in England & Wales.

Michael practiced law in the US for six years before joining a prominent search firm in London in 2003. In 2005, Michael established his firm's international legal search practice with offices in Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels and Geneva.

In 2008 Michael joined Fox Rodney Search Limited to assist its clients with their search needs in Continental Europe, the US and Asia as well as undertaking work in the UK.

Leanne Robson
Leanne graduated from the University of Durham and qualified as a solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in 1994 where she spent the first 10 years of her career, latterly as a senior associate in the corporate department. She then moved to Matheson Ormsby Prentice, one of Ireland's leading firms, where she became a corporate partner in 2005 and headed up their London office, leading transactional teams on Irish aspects of multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Leanne's role as head of the London office of MOP also involved developing relationships and business development activity with the major law firms in London which were primary referrers of work. Leanne joined Fox Rodney Search Limited at the start of 2011.

Karen M. Clifford
With over 23 years of professional services recruiting experience, Karen joined Fox Rodney from the law firm of WilmerHale to lead our Washington, DC practice. At WilmerHale, Karen was responsible for the firm’s global lateral partner recruitment efforts. Karen began her career in legal recruiting in Boston, Massachusetts with the firm of Brown Rudnick. She spent more than twelve years in the management consulting industry managing partner, MBA, law school and PhD recruiting across all North American, European and Asian markets for The Boston Consulting Group and PRTM.

Throughout Karen's career she has played a key role in partnering with practice group leaders to understand and execute lateral partner recruitment in support of their business and strategic growth needs. Karen has been a key advisor to managing partners, executive committee members and lateral hiring partners, assisting in numerous individual and group partner acquisitions at the office and practice group level. Karen's knowledge of the legal trends in hiring across many geographic markets and in particular the Washington, DC legal market, puts her in an ideal position to offer key strategic advice to our client base. Karen graduated with a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
